Initial Inspection

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.

2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.
3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. Verify the stoplamps, turn signals, and hazard warning flasher lamps are operating correctly. Refer to the appropriate diagnostic procedures, if necessary.
5. If the concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the Symptom Chart. Diagnosis By Symptom

NOTE: Aftermarket vehicle accessories are not covered. Only factory installed police package circuitry and components are covered.
