Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the speed control servo electrical connector.
^ Depress the connector tab.
^ Disconnect the connector.
3. Release the speed control cable cap.
1 Depress the speed control cable cap retaining tab.
2 Rotate the speed control cable cap counterclockwise and pull the cable cap away from the servo housing.
4. Disconnect the speed control cable.
1 Depress the spring retainer.
2 Slide the core wire end out of the speed control servo pulley and disconnect the speed control actuator cable.
5. Remove the speed control servo.
1 Remove the nuts.
2 Remove the speed control servo.
6. Separate the bracket from the speed control servo.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Separate the bracket from the speed control servo.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
