Condenser to Evaporator Line
Removal and Installation
Vehicles with 3.OL (2V) engine
1. Remove the suction accumulator (19C836).
All vehicles
2. Remove the bolts.
3. Remove the lower radiator air deflector.
1. Remove the five screws. Remove the air deflector if equipped.
2. Remove the seven screws and the lower radiator air deflector.
4. Disconnect the condenser to evaporator line (19835). Remove and discard the 0-ring seal.
^ During installation install a new 0-ring seal lubricated with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
Vehicles with 3.OL (4V) engine
5. Detach the evaporative emission canister purge valve.
1. Disconnect the evaporative emission canister purge valve electrical connector.
2. Remove the nuts.
3. GDetach the evaporative emission canister purge valve.
6. Detach the power steering reservoir.
1. Remove the nut
2. Detach the wiring harness.
3. Remove the bolt and two nuts.
4. Detach the power steering reservoir.
All vehicles
7. Disconnect the condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling. Remove and discard the 0-ring seal. For additional information refer to

8. To install reverse the removal procedure.
9. Evacuate leak test and charge the A/C system. For additional information refer to
