DTC Index P1246:

NOTE: DTC P1246 can be set by the loss of the communication lines, GEN COM circuit 3990 (OG/YE) and/or GEN MON circuit 1181 (GY/YE). The generator warning indicator lamp will illuminate and the generator will operate in back-up mode (13.5 volts).
