Disc Brake

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the brake disc.





2. Remove and discard the wheel hub grease seal.

3. CAUTION: Discard the rear wheel hub retainer. It is a torque prevailing design and cannot be reused.

CAUTION: Use care not to damage the rear brake anti-lock sensor when removing or installing the wheel hub.





Remove and discard the wheel hub retainer. Remove the wheel hub.

4. NOTE: Thoroughly clean any grease from the surrounding surfaces. If a new hub assembly is being installed, remove the protective coating using carburetor degreaser.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Use a new wheel hub retainer and a new wheel hub grease seal.
