Anti-Lock Control

Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) With Traction Control
The 4-wheel, 4-channel anti-lock brake system (ABS) consists of these components:
^ ABS module
^ Front wheel speed sensor
^ Front wheel speed sensor jumper harness
^ Front wheel speed sensor ring (integral to the front wheel bearing)
^ Hydraulic control unit (HCU)
^ Rear wheel speed sensor
^ Rear wheel speed sensor ring (pressed on to the axle shaft)
^ Yellow ABS warning indicator
^ Traction control switch

The front wheel speed sensor rings are integral to the front hub and bearing assemblies.

The rear wheel speed sensor rings are pressed on to the axle shaft.
