Normal Operation
When the brake pedal is applied, the stoplamp switch routes voltage to the central junction box (CJB) fuses 28 (10A) and 30 (15A) through circuit 10 (LG/RD). The CJB fuse 28 (10A) routes the voltage to the high mounted stoplamp through circuit 569 (DG). The CJB fuse 30 (15A) routes the voltage to the multifunction switch through circuit 511 (LG). The multifunction switch then routes the voltage through circuits 9 (LG/OG) and 5 (OG/LB) to the LH and RH rear lamps, respectively. Ground for all the stoplamps is provided through circuit 57 (BK).

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit 5 (OG/LB) open
- Circuit 9 (LG/OG) open
- Circuit 57 (BK) open
- Circuit 511 (LG) open
- Circuit 569 (DG) open
