PINPOINT TEST J: THE STOPLAMPS ARE ON CONTINUOUSLY

Normal Operation
When the brake pedal is applied, the stoplamp switch routes voltage to the central junction box (CJB) fuse 28 (10A) and fuse 30 (15A) through circuit 10 (LG/RD). The CJB fuse 28 (10A) routes the voltage to the high mounted stoplamp through circuit 569 (DG). The CJB fuse 30 (15A) routes the voltage to the multifunction switch through circuit 511 (LG). The multifunction switch then routes the voltage through circuits 9 (LG/OG) and 5 (OG/LB) to the LH and RH rear lamps, respectively.

Possible Causes
- Circuit 5 (OG/LB) short to voltage
- Circuit 9 (LG/OG) short to voltage
- Circuit 10 (LG/RD) short to voltage
- Circuit 511 (LG) short to voltage
- Circuit 569 (DG) short to voltage
- Stoplamp switch
- Multifunction switch
