Door Alignment - Front

DOOR ALIGNMENT - FRONT

NOTE: Make sure the rear door is within specification before making any adjustments to the front door. Refer to the Specifications.

1. Position the front door seal on body weatherstrip aside.







2. Mark the positions of the front door hinges to use as reference points.







3. Loosen the 4 front door hinge-to-door bolts and nut just enough to permit movement.
4. Adjust the front door seal on body weatherstrip seal gap to specifications.







5. Tighten the 4 front door hinge-to-door bolts and nut.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

6. Install the seal on body weatherstrip seal.
7. If necessary, adjust the door striker.
