This article supersedes TSB 07-13-3 to update Service Labor Times.
ISSUE
Some 2006 Fusion, Milan and Zephyr vehicles may exhibit premature seat bolster wear. The concern is caused by the border wire in the foam pad wearing through the foam and causing the trim cover to wear over time.
ACTION
To address the customer concern, replace the foam pad along with the trim cover on the seat exhibiting the issue. Follow the service procedure outlined in the Workshop Manual, Section 501-10. The new foam pads are revised to prevent the border wire from wearing through. Reference the foam part numbers in this TSB for correct application of the foam pad.
