Removal and Installation
1. Remove the radiator grille.
2. Remove the front bumper cover.
3. Remove the front wheel and tire assembly.
4. Remove the fender splash shield.
5. NOTE: If shims are present during removal, be sure to reinstall shims and check fender alignment.
Remove the 2 lower fender mounting bolts located at the lower rear of the fender.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
6. Remove the 2 fender bracket-to-fender bolts.
- Enter through the wheelhouse opening and reach around the fender bracket to gain access to the fender bracket-to-fender bolts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
7. Remove the fender mounting bolt located at the rear of the wheelhouse opening.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
8. Remove the fender upper mounting bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
9. Remove the fender.
10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
