Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the steering wheel control switches receive a ground from the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) or dual automatic temperature control (DATC) module through circuit RH106 (VT/OG). The DATC/EATC module senses the resistance (depending on what button is pressed) from the steering wheel control switches through circuit VH444 (YE/VT).

Possible Causes
- An open in circuit RH106 (VT/OG) or VH444 (YE/VT)
- A short to ground or voltage in circuit VH444 (YE/VT)
- Steering wheel control switch
- DATC/EATC module
