Normal Operation
The subwoofer speakers are powered by a separate subwoofer amplifier. The enable/clip circuit SME23 (VT/RD) carries out 2 functions: to turn the subwoofer amplifier on, and to monitor an overload condition to the subwoofer amplifier. In the event of an overload, the audio unit clips the audio output signal to the subwoofer amplifier (heard as distortion). The subwoofer amplifier receives voltage through circuit CBP06 (WH/BU), and ground through circuit GD148 (BK/YE).

- Circuit RME22 (GN/WH) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit VME01 (GN/VT) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit VME02 (VT) open, short to ground or voltage
