Not Able to Log Remote Control Keys (Bar Code) via ISTA Test Plan

SITUATION
When replacing a remote control or a BC1 (Body Controller), it is necessary to log the remote(s) with bar code in the BC1 via an ISTA service function for each key. ISTA (Integrated Service Technical Application) D2.26 and D2.27 call up the incorrect test plan "B6300_R500FBBMW".

PROCEDURE
This error will be corrected when ISTA D2.28 is available (expected December 2011).
Until ISTA D2.28 is available, follow the procedure as outlined below:
1. Manually ID the vehicle using "Basic features".
2. Select the "Model series" as "MINI".
3. Select the "Development code" as "R50". Note: Do not select "R53".
4. Select the "Sales designation" as "Cooper".
5. Select the "Country-specific version" as "USA".
6. Select the "Transmission" that is equipped in the vehicle.
7. Select the "Model year" as "2004".
8. Select the "Model month" as "1" and then "Accept".
9. If the pop-up box appears, select "New Operation".
10. Select "Start vehicle test".
11. When the vehicle identification is read after the connection with the ICOM is made, a "Decision Operation / VIN" pop-up box appears. Select the bottom selection "Continue to work with the open operation, do not break the vehicle connection and ignore the selected vehicle identification number".
12. After the vehicle test is finished, select "Activities / Service function / Body / ZKE Central body electrics / log remote control key on/off" and select "Start Search".
13. Select the test plan "B5100_50000 - Log remote control key on and off" and "Display".
14. Follow the test plan recommendations to complete the job.
