SITUATION





When performing a water pump removal and installation or replacement procedure on Cooper S models, the repair manual group 11, section 11 51 000 refers to a lubricant called "Syntheso Glep1" that must be used to lubricate the water pump 0-ring (1) before installation. See illustration.
