41 62 000 Removing And Installing Rear Lid

For stripping and rigging operations, refer to texts on KSD CD (FR number 41 62 000).







Open rear lid.
Secure rear lid against falling closed.
Unfasten screws (1).

Installation:
Apply primer coating to unpainted areas before installing rear lid.
Install rear lid at screw locations on hinge. This dispenses with adjustment to fit after installing.

If this is not possible, touch up flaws with touch-up stick and adjust rear lid to fit.
Seal area of hinges with cavity sealant.
