Removing And Installing Right Output Shaft
Special Tools Required:

Remove road wheel.
Apply foot brake. Release collar nut on output shaft (1).
Output shaft to angular contact ball bearing
M22 x 1.5 stake nut 182 Nm
Note: Use only once.
Drain gearbox oil.
Remove caliper bolts (1).
Remove caliper and hang to ensure no tension on brake hose.
Front subframe rear to body
M12 x 1.75 x 61.7 100 Nm
Note: Self forming.
Remove steering tie track rod end from knuckle using special tool 32 3 090 (1)
Outer ball joint to knuckle
M10 x 1.25 x 12 Locknut 52 Nm
Note: Use only once.
Remove ABS sensor from knuckle (1).
ABS sensor to steering knuckle
Allen headed bolt 8 Nm
Remove outer lower control arm nut.
Release lower control arm from knuckle using special tool 321 190 .
Brake hose to brake calliper
Banjo Bolt
M12 x 1.0 40 - 50 Nm
Release bolts holding intermediate driveshaft housing to the block (1).
Driveshaft bearings to engine sump
M8 x 1.25 25 Nm
Remove bolt, holding knuckle to McPherson strut/damper.
Front strut to knuckle
M12 x 1.5 x 60 81 Nm
Remove knuckle from strut and lift out driveshaft and knuckle assembly.
Fit special tool 24 8 120 to oil seal (as shown), to protect seal when inserting driveshaft. Ensure tool is fitted correctly over lip of seal.
Insert driveshaft into seal as shown and remove 24 8 120 by pulling on tail as shown.
Refill gearbox with oil and check for leaks.
