MINI Cooper S with W11 Engine up to 01/03 production.

Complaint
Low coolant level with evidence of leak at expansion tank seam.

Cause
Insufficient sealing of expansion tank at seam.

Measure
On a customer complaint basis, replace expansion tank with P/N 17 137 529 273. This improved part is installed in production starting 01/03.
