Center Lock Button Malfunction

R50 (Cooper), R53 (Cooper So)

Vehicles produced 8/31/03 to 6/29/04

SITUATION

Doors cannot be unlocked using the center lock button when CKM setting "selective unlocking" is active, unless either driver's door is open or all doors have been locked using the center lock button

CAUSE

SW error in the BCI

PROCEDURE

In case of customer complaint, replace BCI with P/N 61 35 6 934 293 (SW3.0) or later version.
