Transmission

The MINI COOPER S is available with a 6 speed manual GS6-85BG/Getrag 285 transmission. The transmissions are mounted in line with the engine on the drivers side of the engine bay. The final drive/differential assembly is integral with the transmission housing and provides drive to the front wheels.
