Removing and Installing or Replacing Left or Right Rear Seat Backrest

52 26 015 - Removing and installing or replacing left or right rear seat backrest





Necessary preliminary tasks: (Coupe only)
- Remove rear head restraint
- Remove panel for rear window shelf





Unlock backrests and fold down.

Installation:
Do not trap the seat belt when folding up the backrest.





Release screw (1).
Open lock (2) for center retaining fixture in direction of arrow.
Remove backrest from center retaining fixture.





Note:
Backrest is detached at an angle of approx. 45° from outer retaining fixture (1).

Remove backrest from outer retaining fixture (1).
