41 61 001 Replacing Engine Bonnet/Hood







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove engine hood
- Modify spray nozzle
- Modify trim rings
- Modify front and rear trim strips
- Modify retaining hook and striker
- Modify noise insulation







For cars with electric motors:

WARNING:
- Voltages up to 1000 V can occur on the car.
- Work on the high-voltage system may only be carried out by specially trained electricians.
- Before work is started, the high-voltage system must be fully deactivated by a specially trained electrician and secured against unauthorized restarting.
- Before work is started, the safety instructions on handling electric vehicles must be read.







IMPORTANT: Do not damage bonnet/hood outer skin.

Carry over hole pattern to new part in areas (1) and cut out inner panel.
Paint bonnet/hood.
