Outer Gearshift Sluggish

Repair instruction
1. Remove the gear lever cover.
2. Check the ease of movement of the gear lever and deflection lever, paying particular attention to narrow carpet cutouts. If the sequence of movements of the deflection lever is inhibited, rework the carpet.
3. If no fault is found in the gear lever and deflection lever, replace the shift cable. Check the shift console for ease of movement.
