Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

63 25 000 - Removing and installing/replacing auxiliary brake light





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear roof strip





Unlock catch for plug connection holder (1) and remove from roof strip (5).
Feed wiring harness for auxiliary brake light out of fixtures (2).
Carefully unlock retaining lugs (4) and remove auxiliary brake light (3) towards rear from roof strip (5).

Installation:
Retaining lugs (4) must not be damaged.
Make sure auxiliary brake light (3) is correctly engaged on roof strip (5).
Make sure wiring harness for auxiliary brake light is correctly routed.
