Removing and Installing Left Splitdoor

41 62 010 - Removing and installing left splitdoor





Read contents of Body, General Service Precautions.
For stripping and rigging operations, refer to texts on KSD CD (FR number 41 62 010).





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear light Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right Rear Light
- Remove gas strut Removing and Installing / Replacing Gas Strut for Left or Right Splitdoor.





Release holder (1) in direction of arrow and carefully pull out.





Disconnect both plugs (1) and detach plug from holder (2).





Release wiring harness (1) from body and carefully feed out.

Installation:
Make sure wiring harness is correctly seated (watertightness).

Important!
Secure door against falling out.

Release screws and pull out of hinges.

Tightening torque 41 62 1AZ [1][2]Specifications.
Remove door.

Installation:
If necessary, adjust door .
