Test condition:
Intake manifold pressure control active
No fault related to intake manifold pressure sensor, mass
airflow sensor, intake VANOS, exhaust VANOS, throttle
valve, intake air temperature sensor, engine temperature
sensor, Valvetronic actuator motor, tank EVAP, barometric
pressure sensor
500 1 rpm 10 % -30 °< Intake air temperature <100 °
Engine temperature >60 °
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
none

Action in service
Inspect to confirm that dipstick is fully inserted and oil filler
cap is closed
Check induction system on engine-side of throttle valve for
leaks; check EVAP and PCV line connections on intake
system;
replace fuel pressure-differential sensor
Replace throttle valve
