Radio-Operated Key Jams Or Is Not Retained

The following faults can occur with the plug-in unit for the radio-operated key:

Radio-operated key jams or is not retained
- The radio-operated key is not retained in the plug-in unit (held).
- The radio-operated key sticks in the plug-in unit

The fault may occur as a continuous or a sporadic fault (every now and then).
Carry out following checks in the case of fault:

Radio-operated key check
Check whether there is any visual damage on the radio-operated key. If necessary, check the function using the second radio-operated key. The radio-operated key must be renewed if it is visibly damaged.

Plug connection check







- Check both sides of plug connection of ribbon cable (1) to slide-in unit for radio-operated key (4) for correct locking (3).
- Check ribbon cable (2) for damage.

Ensure the plug connection is secure and check the function.
The plug-in unit must not be renewed if the fault could be rectified.
