Confirm the faulty operation of the front window. If one of the faults listed above exists, proceed to the next step.
1. For vehicles produced prior to August 30, 2012, replace the affected power window motor(s), using the appropriate part number below. Refer to ISTA Repair Instruction 51 33 000.
Important Note:
When installing the new motor, ensure the rubber coupling from the faulty motor is removed (see the arrow in the illustration below) and reinstalled into the new motor drive.
Note:
The rubber coupling is NOT supplied with the new window motor.
2. For vehicles produced from January 3, 2012 to April 4, 2012, also replace the affected front window guide seal(s), using the appropriate part number below. Refer to ISTA Repair Instruction 51 32 211.
3. Program the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.48.1 or later.
Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
For information on programming and coding with ISTA/P, refer to CenterNet / Aftersales Portal / Service / Workshop Technology / Vehicle Programming.
After programming, refer to ISTA and initialize the front windows.
