CORRECTION
Vehicles produced from 6/30/2011 to 9/18/2011

Do not replace any parts.

1. Perform a vehicle test using ISTA and complete all the corresponding test modules related to the anti-theft alarm system.

2. Program and code the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.44.0 or higher.

Note:
Inform the customer that it is only possible to open the tailgate using the remote control after the vehicle has been unlocked. This production period does not support the ISTA/P CAS (Car Access System) conversion mentioned for the later production periods. The final solution will be introduced with ISTA/P 2.47 (expected July 2012).

Vehicles produced from 9/19/2011 to 6/30/2012

Do not replace any parts.

1. Perform a vehicle test using ISTA and complete all the corresponding test modules related to the anti-theft alarm system.

2. Until the final solution is available with ISTA/P 2.47, perform the conversion "CAS conversion - tailgate remote control button" with ISTA/P 2.45 or higher in order to open the tailgate by using the remote key without unlocking the vehicle.

3. Perform complete vehicle encoding. The vehicle order will be automatically modified (+OEOE added).

Note:
When the ISTA system message displays: Battery voltage only "XX.XX" V. Connect charger. Please note the displayed battery voltage reading in the repair order comments section.

ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
