Two Wheel Drive Models

1. Raise and support vehicle and drain transmission fluid, then remove driveshaft, shift control cable, oil filler tube and starter motor.
2. Remove throttle cable, overdrive solenoid wiring connector, speedometer cable, ground cable and oil cooler lines.
3. Remove exhaust pipe clamps and bellhousing cover, then remove six torque converter to flywheel mounting bolts.
4. Support transmission with suitable jack, move transmission backward carefully and separate from engine.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Be sure torque converter is fully set into transmission.
