    Ball Joint
      Check for wear or damage. Lubricate those equipped with grease fittings. Check for wear or damage. Lubricate those with a grease fitting available.
Replace
    Vacuum Controller, HVAC
      2.6 Liter engine, except California. Replace the vacuum control system solenoid valve air filter.
    Timing Belt
      Check for debris and fluid leaks in belt-drive area.
    Spark Plug
      Platinum plugs. Replace with correct type and gap according to manufacturers specification.
    Oil Filter, Engine
      Change filter at least every 12 months.
    Ignition Cable
      Except California vehicles.
    Hoses
      1990-1991 vehicles. Replace crankcase ventilation, vacuum and water hoses.
    Fluid - Differential
      Limited-Slip differential. Change fluid, check for leaks.
    Fluid - A/T
      Service fluid and filter. Check for leaks.
    Engine Oil
      Use oil rated to manufacturers specifications.
    Drive Belt
      Replace water pump and alternator V-belts.

      1990 vehicles. Inspect for leaks. Repack whenever rotors are removed.

      Drain, flush and refill system. Check specific gravity for freezing point.

      2.6 Liter engine. Clean choke assembly and linkages. Check for proper operation.
