Rheostat Inspection

1. Instrument under cover.
2. Remove the rheostat from the instrument panel.
3. Connect the battery and the test light (40 W) as shown in the illustration.
4. Operate the rheostat, and if the brightness changes smoothly without switching off, then the rheostat function is normal.
