Fuel Tank: Service and Repair

FUEL TANK REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Pre-removal and Post-installation Operation:
- Fuel Draining and Filling
- Fuel Tank Filler Tube Protector Removal and Installation
- Floor Carpet Removal and Installation
- Floor Cover Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Place a cloth over fuel line connections while loosening to prevent fuel from spraying out.




2. After disconnecting the high-pressure fuel hose at the body-side main pipe connection, disconnect the pump-side connection.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal; after tightening the high-pressure fuel hose at the pump-side, tighten the connection at the body-side main pipe.
