Air Bag Systems: Testing and Inspection

When the ignition switch is turned to the On position or the engine is started, the SRS warning lamp will light for about seven seconds, then go Off. If the lamp operates as specified, the system is functioning properly. If the lamp stays lit more than seven seconds or lights when driving, a system malfunction or condition is indicated.
