Disassembly
AUTOMATIC FREEWHEELING HUB1. Remove cover, then the O-ring.
2. Remove housing, then depress brake "B" and remove C-ring.
3. Remove brakes "B" and "A", then the brake spring.
4. Remove housing snap ring, then using tool, No. MB990811-01 or equivalent, depress drive gear and remove retainer and C-ring.
5. Using tool, No. MB990811-01 or equivalent and a suitable press, remove drive gear, slide gear and return spring.
6. Remove retainer "B", then the retainer bearing.
7. Remove drive gear snap ring and discard.
8. Remove retainer "A", then the drive gear.
9. Depress cam, then remove slide gear C-ring.
10. Remove cam, then the spring holder, shift spring and slide gear.

1. Remove snap ring and inner hub from freewheeling hub body using a suitable screwdriver, Fig. 4.
2. Remove snap ring from inner hub with snap ring pliers.
