The engine model is stamped at the right rear of the top of the cylinder block. These engine model numbers are as shown as follows:

- 6G72 <3.0L engine> 2,972cc (181.3 cu.in.)
- 6G74 <3.5L engine> 3,497cc (213.4 cu.in.)

The engine serial number is stamped near the engine model number.
