A. Extension housing removal. (16)
Pull the extension housing toward the rear while pushing the change shifter toward the left.





B. Mainshaft jam nut removal. (36)
Required Special Tool or equivalent:
MD998809: Lock Nut Wrench (41).





C. Bearing sleeve removal. (44)
Required Special Tools or equivalents:
MD998020: Bearing Puller.
MD998028 Bearing Puller Adapter.





D. Mainshaft center bearing removal. (64)
Required Special Tools or equivalents:
MD998020: Bearing Puller.
MD998028: Bearing Puller Adapter.





E. Maindrive gear bearing removal. (72)
Required Special Tool:
MD998020: Bearing Puller or equivalent.
