Inspection Procedure 3

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
If the usual headlight operation is normal, the ETACS-ECU is faulty.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
- Malfunction of the headlight relay
- Malfunction of the ETACS-ECU
- Damaged harness wires or connectors

DIAGNOSIS

Check the headlight operation.
If the headlights do not operate correctly, resolve the headlight system problems first.

If the headlight operation is correct, replace the ETACS-ECU. Confirm that the headlights flicker when the alarm operates.
