Low/Reverse Annulus Gear

DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY

ASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS
>A< ONE-WAY CLUTCH INSTALLATION





Install the one-way clutch so that the arrow stamp is oriented as shown in the illustration.

>B< STOPPER PLATE INSTALLATION





Install the stopper plate onto the low/reverse annulus gear. Make sure that the stopper plate claw is securely engaged in the annulus gear groove.

>C< THRUST BEARING NUMBER 6 INSTALLATION





CAUTION: Take care not to mistake the thrust bearing number 6 mounting direction.

Apply Vaseline or petrolatum jelly on the thrust bearing number 6, and then install on the output planetary carrier.

>D< THRUST BEARING NUMBER 5 INSTALLATION





CAUTION: Take care not to mistake the thrust bearing number 5 mounting direction.

Apply Vaseline or petrolatum jelly on the thrust bearing number 5, and then install on the overdrive planetary carrier.
