AUTO-DIMMING FEATURE TEST

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

2. Check that the auto-dimming interior mirror is on. The green operation indicator light will be lit when the auto-dimming interior mirror is on. If it's not, press the switch to turn on the auto-dimming interior mirror. Make sure that the selector lever is not in the R range.





3. Cover the forward-facing light sensor on the back of the mirror with a black cloth.
4. Check that the mirror dims within 2 minutes when the light strikes the backward-facing light sensor.
5. If the mirror does not dim, replace the auto-dimming interior mirror assembly.
