Throttle Full Close Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Place ignition switch in Off position, then disconnect ISC servo electrical connector.
2. Check for continuity between pole 2 and throttle body, Fig. 9.
3. If continuity is present when throttle valve is placed in idle position and if there is no continuity when throttle valve is open, then switch is satisfactory. If continuity is present when throttle valve is in either condition, contacts are stuck together. Replace ISC servo assembly. If continuity is not present with throttle valve in either condition, grounding is defective. Replace ISC servo assembly.
4. Reconnect ISC servo electrical connector.
