1985 - 88
1. On 1985 - 86 models and 1987 - 88 Cordia and Tredia, place ignition switch to Off position, then disconnect ISC servo electrical connector nd check for continuity between terminal 2 and injection mixer body, Fig. 30.
2. On 1987 - 88 Mirage and Starion, place ignition switch in Off position, then disconnect ISC servo electrical connector ns check for continuity between terminal 2 and ground, Fig. 31.
3. On all models, if continuity is present when throttle valve is placed in idle position and if continuity is not present when throttle valve is open, switch is satisfactory. If continuity is present when throttle valve is in either condition, the contacts are bound together and ISC servo assembly should be replaced. If continuity is not present with throttle valve in either condition, grounding is defective and ISC servo assembly should be replaced.
4. Reconnect ISC servo connector.
