Throttle Full Close Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect throttle position switch electrical connector and connect test harness MD998464 or equivalent.
2. Connect ohmmeter between throttle position sensor electrical connect terminal 1 and ground, Fig. 48. With accelerator pedal depressed, ohmmeter should indicate and infinite reading. With accelerator pedal released, ohmmeter should indicate 0 ohms.
3. If readings are not as indicated, replace idle switch.
