PURPOSE
The connectors for both Federal and California oxygen sensors in the 1989 Galant DOHC engine have been unified to a four-pole connector. This bulletin is issued to update the Service Manuals and the Wiring Diagram.

INSTRUCTIONS On each of the affected Service Manual pages, cross out the box enclosing the wiring diagram for Federal and California oxygen sensors. Refer to this bulletin, by writing "TSB-88-08-016" in the revision box at the bottom of the page. Wiring Diagram KX35-AG-8H0505A-N for MPI < DOHC > is found in the envelope inside the back cover of 1989 GALANT Service Manual, Vol. 2. In this wiring diagram, cross out the box enclosing the wiring diagram for Federal and California oxygen sensors. Under the diagram, write "See TSB-88-08-016".
