Fig. 3 Rear Suspension Assembly:

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove rear wheels.
2. Disconnect parking brake cable from rear brake assembly and from the torsion axle and arm assembly, Fig. 3.
3. Remove brake hose bracket from torsion axle and arm assembly.
4. Remove rear brake assembly and secure out of way.
5. Support torsion axle and arm assembly with a jack.
6. On models equipped with electronically controlled suspension, disconnect height sensor rod from lateral rod.
7. On all models, remove lateral rod from body, refer to ``Lateral Rod, Replace'' procedure.
8. Remove torsion axle and arm assembly from body, then disconnect top of shock absorber.
9. Lower jack, then remove rear suspension assembly from body.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
