A/T - Failure To Move In Any Gear

SUBJECT: KM SERIES MITSUBISHI/CHRYSLER

FAILURE TO MOVE IN ANY GEAR

PROBLEM:
On several occasions KM series transmissions have failed to move in any gear.

CAUSE:
The transmissions were removed from the vehicle for inspection, only to find no problems in the transmission or pump area.

However, it was noticed that the converter had not been completely filled with fluid.

SOLUTION:
To keep this from happening to you.....

Put fluid in the converter BEFORE installing it in the vehicle.
