APPLICATION
After drilling a hole in the body or chassis to install accessories, or when making other repairs where the factory anti-corrosion treatment of body or chassis metal parts is impacted, treat the area with Rusfre 1000 (A9907KIX01), which is available from your facing PDC.
Stir or shake well before using. For best results, surfaces should be free from salt, dirt, grime and large scaling rust. The most effective application temperature is between 50° and 70° degrees F. No drying or curing time is necessary. Parts can be installed immediately after application.
If the material becomes thick, because of solvent loss, it can be reduced 10% to 15% using mineral spirits. Do not use lacquer thinner.
Clean up any excess product using mineral spirits.
The shelf life for the product is 1 year before degradation. Keep tightly capped when not in use.
Rusfre 1000 is recommended for use specifically when installing the Genuine Mitsubishi Accessories shown above.
