SEPARATION OF INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD AROUND CLOCK OPENING AND ECS CONTROL PANEL OPENING





PURPOSE

The Galant Dash may exhibit a separation of the foam padding from the core base in the areas with an "X" shown. This can be corrected by using a quick dry type glue to secure the foam to the core.





REPAIR PROCEDURE

^ Remove the clock or ECS control panel.

^ Glue the foam or film attached to the foam to the base as shown below.* Use 3M Quick Fix Adhesive (Cyanoacrylate) part #08155.

After applying the glue you will need to press against the pad for about 30 seconds until the glue sets.

Be careful so as not to get any glue on a visible part of the dash.
