PURPOSE

This bulletin contains a revised circuit diagram for the 1989 Galant GS MPI circuit. In the Service Manual, certain wire and terminal callouts were transposed, and these are corrected.

1989 Galant Service Manual, Vol. 2, Page 8-84:

In the wiring diagram for the DOHC engine, please change two wire colors and four terminal numbers as indicated in the illustration below. Also, as reference to this bulletin, please write the TSB number in the box at the bottom of the page. (The correct wire color from the Crank Angle Sensor to the MPI Control Unit is Black, and the correct wire color from the TDC Sensor to the MPI Control Unit is White.)
