PURPOSE
As you know, the dotted lines on the new "North-South" wiring diagrams are used to indicate which wires are grouped into a single harness connector. This bulletin revises the doffed line surrounding the MPI Control Unit on the 1989 Galant wiring diagram.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Referring to the diagrams on page two, remove the dotted line between terminals 6 and 58 on the right side of the MPI wiring diagram. This can be done by covering the dotted line with typewriter correction fluid. Be sure to do this in both books of the Service Manual.
NOTE: Be careful not to cover up other numbers or symbols when covering the dotted line.
As reference to this bulletin, please write the TSB number at the bottom of page 14-15 in book 1 and page 8-77 in book 2 in the 1989 Galant Service Manual.
